bismillah

Man tha allathee yuqridu Allaha qardan hasanan fayudaAAifahu lahu walahu ajrun kareem(un)

Who is he that will lend Allaah-SWT a goodly loan, so that He-SWT may multiply it for him? And his will be an honourable wage.

(57:11)

Yawma tara almumineena wa(a)lmuminati yasAAa nooruhum bayna aydeehim wabiaymanihim bushrakumu alyawma jannatun tajree min tahtiha alanharu khalideena feeha thalika huwa alfawzu alAAatheem(u)

Mention the Day whereon you shall see the believing men and women, their light running before them and on their right hands; glad tidings to you Today: Gardens with running water beneath them, they will abide therein. That; it is a mighty achievement.

(57:12)

Yawma yaqoolu almunafiqoona wa(a)lmunafiqatu lillatheena amanoo onthuroona naqtabis min noorikum qeela irjiAAoo waraakum fa(i)ltamisoo nooran faduriba baynahum bisoorin lahu babun batinuhu feehi a(l)rrahmatu wathahiruhu min qibalihi alAAathab(u)

It shall be the Day whereon the hypocrites, men and women, will say to the faithful: wait for us that we may borrow some light from you. It will be said: Go back and seek a light elsewhere. A high wall will then be set up between them, wherein will be a door, of which the inside has mercy and the outside is toward the torment.

(57:13)

Yunadoonahum alam nakun maAAakum qaloo bala walakinnakum fatantum anfusakum watarabbastum wa(i)rtabtum wagharratkumu alamaniyyu hatta jaa amru Allahi wagharrakum bi(A)llahi algharoor(u)

They will call to them: Have we not been with you? They will say: Yes, but you tempted your souls and you waited and you doubted and your vain desires beguiled you until there came the affair of Allah-SWT , and in respect of Allah-SWT the beguiler beguiled you.

(57:14)

Fa(a)lyawma la yukhathu minkum fidyatun wala mina allatheena kafaroo mawakumu a(l)nnaru hiya mawlakum wabisa almaseer(u)

Today, therefore, will no ransom be accepted of you, nor of those who openly disbelieved; your abode is the Fire; that is your companion, a hapless destination.

(57:15)

Alam yani lillatheena amanoo an takhshaAAa quloobuhum lithikri Allahi wama nazala mina alhaqqi wala yakoonoo ka(a)llatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablu fatala AAalayhimu alamadu faqasat quloobuhum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoon(a)

Is not the time yet come for those who believe, that their hearts should humble themselves to Allah-SWT ’s admonition and to the truth which has been revealed, and that they do not become as those who were given the Book before, and the time was extended to them, and so their hearts were hardened? And many of them were ungodly.

(57:16)

IAAlamoo anna Allaha yuhyee alarda baAAda mawtiha qad bayyanna lakumu alayati laAAallakum taAAqiloon(a)

Know that Allaah-SWT quickens the earth after its death. Surely We-SWT have propounded to you the Signs that perchance you may reflect.

(57:17)

Inna almussaddiqeena wa(a)lmussaddiqati waaqradoo Allaha qardan hasanan yudaAAafu lahum walahum ajrun kareem(un)

Verily the alms-giving men and women-and they are lending a goodly loan to Allah-SWT -it shall be multiplied for them and theirs shall be an honourable wage.

(57:18)

Wa(a)llatheena amanoo bi(A)llahi warusulihi olaika humu a(l)ssiddeeqoona wa(al)shshuhadao AAinda rabbihim lahum ajruhum wanooruhum wa(a)llatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biayatina olaika ashabu aljaheem(i)

And those who believe in Allaah-SWT and His-SWT Messengers-AS, they are the saints and martyrs in the sight of their Rabb-SWT : Theirs shall be full wage and their light. And those who disbelieved and belied Our-SWT Signs-they shall be the fellows of the Blaze.

(57:19)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

Whatever is spent in Allah-SWT's Cause, be it life, wealth, or energies and endeavours, never goes waste. It is rather a loan, sure to be reimbursed. It remains in the safe custody of Allah-SWT Who-SWT increases and returns it multiplied manifold, while the investor is held in high esteem. This striving shall one Day escort the believing men and women in the form of light, moving on their front, right and left. After the accountability, darkness will enshroud everything. The infidels will be pushed into Hell while the believers given the light commensurate to the sincerity of their conduct will safely cross over the extremely narrow bridge on Hell into Jannah and abide therein, an abode ever flourishing with rivers flowing through. This indeed will be a grand success. The hypocrites who professed to be Muslims but had hearts void of faith, shall call out to the believing men and women to stop and wait for them so that they may benefit from their light, or take a portion thereof.

State of the Hypocrites

According to Hadith, every action in accord with the Holy Prophet-SW's Sunnah generates a light while infidelity and ungodly actions generate darkness. This reality will manifest itself in the Akhirah. The infidels are not mentioned here as they will have no light at all, but only the hypocrites whose actions are similar to the Muslims. Though this similarity does generate light, yet it will snuff out because of no sincerity or devotion behind it. They shall reap the outcome of their life long deception now, shall scream and yell, begging the believers to wait so that they may avail some of their light. They will be told to stop wailing and turn back to where this light is being distributed. On return to that point they will be told that it was all over and a wall shall rise between them and the believers. It will have a door, inside it there will be abundance of Allah-SWT's Mercy, while outside punishment for the hypocrites. They will protest that they too had worshipped like the believers, but are now being punished. They will be told that this was the sequel to their hypocrisy; for harbouring the dreams of destruction for the believers. They had lived a life of delusion, obsessed by their fancies, until death took over. This Day there was no remedy; neither any ransom nor excuse was to be entertained from them or the infidels, both being the followers of Satan. Their destination was Hell, indeed a morbid and tormenting place. People who twist the meanings of Quran and other edicts of Shari'ah to serve their vested interests will also be identified with the hypocrites.

Zikr-e-Qalbi and its Effects

So after knowing these facts from Allah-SWT's Book and the teachings of the Holy Prophet-SW there is no reason for the believers to show any neglect. Are their hearts not yet overwhelmed by the humility and awe, so as to begin to remember Him-SWT ? As a result of Zikr-e-Qalbi only they will be blessed with sincerity and the capacity to act on His-SWT Commands. The believers must not be heedless on this account.

Din, the Top Priority

They must never act like the Jews and Christians who gave their religion secondary importance over the mundane pursuits. As a result, with the passage of time their Qulub became callous, hard and lifeless, losing the capacity to accept the faith. A majority of them went astray and are now hesitant to embrace Islam. Mark that Allaah-SWT quickens the barren soil and it sprouts greenery. Similarly mankind will also be quickened, a fact supported by ample evidence. So people must act with sagacity and wisdom, which lies only in obedience and total conformity to the Holy Prophet-SW.

Undoubtedly the efforts and wealth, the believers spend in Allah-SWT's Cause is deposited with Him-SWT , in the form of loan which will be returned manifold, befitting to His-SWT Grace. Those who attained the level of perfection and displayed no negligence or slackening qualify for the station of §Siddiq and Shaheed with Him-SWT .

Siddiq and Shaheed

Whether all believers are Siddiq and Shaheed is an issue that has been discussed at length in various Commentaries. The essence is that any believer who displays no neglect in the spirit of sacrifice and virtuous conduct is a Shaheed in a way as well as a Siddiq. Everyone enjoys a level by His-SWT Grace commensurate to his sincerity. The illustrious 'Umar Faruq-RAU once asked a group of believers why did they not stop a wrongdoer committing a crime in their presence. They replied that they feared trouble in return. He declared that they were neither Siddiq nor Shaheed, which means that those who compromise do not deserve this honour. This Ayah provides testimony to the exalted status of the Companions-RAU because of the blessed company of the Holy Prophet-SW. For them awaits a grand reward with Allaah-SWT and the coveted light in the Akhirah. But for the infidels and the deniers is the fire in Hell, wherein they shall have to abide.
